Exposed in Berlin

Exposed_in_Berlin

Painting: “Exposed in Berlin" 2013 (50x60cm, acrylic on canvas).

I was waiting to pass through the airport security check in Berlin, so I took my laptop out, placed it in the basket, grabbed another basket to place my handbag and then I took my jacket off… (here is where all the shame and laughing started…)

So, when I took my jacket off, all the buttons of my shirt were unbuttoned (but I did NOT realize they were open and I continued doing my stuff of passing through the security check)…

(What happened next???)…

Translation from German to English…

Elena:  Oh! (looking down and turning red as a tomatoe)…

Security officer: I did’t see anything, I swear it! (covering his eyes with his hands and smiling)…

Elena:  mmm ok… (red continues)…

Security officer: Well, I did SEE!!! And what I saw, let me tell you that I liked it… In fact, I think I LOVE YOU, beautiful lady!

Elena:  (speechless and laughing)…

Security officer: (to his colleagues)… I was ok with my working day, and SUDDENLY this pretty girl comes along with her blouse completely open, and I say Yeah!!! unexpected gift… WELCOME!…

Elena:  It was funny…(yeah but not for me lucky guy!)

In the end I’m lucky it happened in Berlin with a young and handsome officer and that I received an “I love you” instead of a “Mamacita!” that I would’ve received in Mexico.

Thank you as always for reading the post…

Elena
